The goal was to let fans enjoy Street Fighter beyond the screen. For many, the game brings back memories of arcade battles with friends. Our vintage photo booth offered familiar nostalgia, making it a natural fit for the screening.
We paired that old-school appeal with the film’s bold artwork to create a branded photo booth guests could make their own. They could duck behind the curtain and bring their best game face, then walk away with a photo strip that tied those old arcade memories to a whole new night out.
A screening already has a main attraction. The photo experience needed to complement it and give fans a reason to participate without requiring a complicated activity.
The creative challenge was to carry Street Fighter’s energy into a familiar photo booth format. Guests needed room to have fun with their poses, while the booth and finished photos still felt connected to the film.
We brought our Vintage Enclosed Photo Booth to Regal North Hollywood. Its red curtain marked the entrance and gave guests some privacy during their sessions.
The enclosed structure created a dedicated photo space. Inside, a screen beneath the camera displayed the Street Fighter logo, bringing the theme into the booth.
The wrap combined dark panels with bold Street Fighter logos. Character artwork covered the side, while “Ready. Set. Fight.” appeared beside the curtain. Regal and 4DX branding connected the installation to the screening.
The branded photo strips continued that look with a bright red-and-yellow design. Street Fighter branding sat above the three frames, with partner logos below. Each photo kept guests’ expressions as the focus, surrounded by artwork that made the occasion clear.
Street Fighter packed the big screen with action and fun, and that same energy carried straight over to the photo booth. Fans could go all in with a fierce fighting stance or keep things light with a big grin. With three frames to work with, they had room to switch it up from shot to shot.
One finished strip captured that spirit. A guest changed his expression and adjusted his hat between frames, finishing with a playful gesture toward the camera. He brought his own personality to the Street Fighter artwork surrounding his photos.
This experiential marketing activation extended the fun of the movie experience. Along with memories of the action on screen, guests could take home a keepsake of their own moment in front of the camera.
Guests could keep a physical strip and receive a digital version of their photos. The print gave them a souvenir from the screening, while digital delivery made the same branded images available on their phones.
The analytics recorded 29 text-message deliveries and 11 downloads. Those actions gave guests ways to access their photos beyond the booth, with the Street Fighter design still attached.
The booth recorded 33 sessions, producing 99 individual images and 33 prints. Snappic also logged 36 photo views and 29 lead entries.
Here’s what those numbers tell us:
The Street Fighter marketing team could use these photo booth data insights to plan future screening activations. Text delivery drove most digital sharing, making it a useful channel to retain. For guests who opted into marketing, sending a follow-up with a tracked ticket link could show the team how event engagement ties into later interest.
The booth gave guests a personal keepsake from an exclusive film experience. One look at the artwork told guests it was all about Street Fighter, while the photos let fans put their own stamp on the scene.
Pairing an arcade classic with a vintage photo booth also brought back that ’90s arcade feel. Fans who grew up with the game got to tap into their inner child, while newer fans got a fun first taste of the Street Fighter world.
This custom photo booth for brand activation kept the look consistent from the outside wrap to the finished strip. In the end, guests walked away with a screening souvenir that put them front and center right alongside the film.
