Brand Activation | Los Angeles, CA | Custom Enclosed Photo Booth
Behind the curtain, skincare got a little camera time. For Reale Actives’ brand activation at Create & Cultivate Festival 2026, our custom photo booth brought a nostalgic touch to the brand’s playful take on beauty. Guests could settle in with a friend or pose with their skincare, with three frames to have some fun.
Held in Los Angeles on September 19–20, the festival brought together more than 4,000 attendees for programming and experiences centered on women in business. Stay Golden Photo Booth gave the brand a chance to connect with attendees over something as simple as a photo.

Alix Earle’s Reale Actives wants to make skincare feel approachable. Its festival activation reflected that with a playful, nostalgic setting where attendees could get to know the acne-care brand up close.
The photo experience needed to fit that setting and give attendees an extra reason to spend time with the brand. Guests should be able to join in easily and leave with a photo that reminded them of their visit.
At a festival full of programming and competing brand experiences, we couldn’t assume guests would stop for photos. Stay Golden had to create something that caught their eye and felt worth a few minutes of their day.
The vintage photo booth also needed to feel like part of the Reale Actives space. We had to make the skincare brand recognizable throughout the experience while leaving guests room to have fun with their photos. The branding mattered, but so did giving people a picture they would actually want to keep.
The enclosed photo booth had reflective silver panels with a dark curtain across the entrance. Inside was a wood-toned bench above a black-and-white checkerboard floor. The booth had plenty of old-fashioned charm before we added the custom branding.
Closing the curtain gave guests a break from being out in the open. They could sit beside a friend or have the camera to themselves for a few shots. That enclosed space was part of what made the experience immersive amid a super-busy festival.
Pale green covered the front logo panel, standing out against the surrounding silver. We kept the rest of the exterior’s retro character visible.
The custom photo strip design used black borders around three color photos, with the Reale Actives logo in white at the bottom. The layout kept the logo easy to read and left plenty of room for the portraits.
The finished photos had plenty of personality. A guest in sunglasses held up her skincare and stuck out her tongue. In another strip, a product showed up beside a guest’s face before she changed poses for the next frame. Three photos gave people a chance to try a few expressions in one sitting. They could keep it simple or get a little silly.
Guests had a printed souvenir to take with them, along with the option of a digital copy. The event reports recorded both text-message sharing and downloads. A print could leave the festival in someone’s bag; the digital version could go straight to their phone.
Both carried the same branded photo design, so the brand stayed attached when someone saved the photo or sent it to a friend.
Across the activation, our photo booth analytics recorded 694 photo sessions and 690 prints. There were also 752 sharing actions and 596 views. Reported impressions from the two daily reports totaled 185,744.
The results show that both formats had a place in the activation. Guests left with physical prints, while the sharing activity also showed interest in accessing digital copies. That gave Reale Actives more opportunities for its branded photos to be kept and passed along.
A photo with your friends is already worth keeping. Make it part of an exclusive Zara Larsson concert, and there’s a story attached to it. We built the booth around that appeal, giving guests a setting that belonged to the show and room to have a little fun in front of the camera.
For Chase Sapphire Reserve and Apple Music, the branding came along for the experience. Their names stayed on the photos guests printed and shared. That gave experiential marketing a practical payoff: guests got something they could make themselves, while the partners remained part of the picture after the night ended.
The photo booth put Reale Actives’ brand message, “Serious products for an unserious life,” into practice. Guests could bring the skincare into their photos and be a little silly with it. The enclosed booth setup gave them the privacy to do that without posing in front of the festival crowd.
This approach to experiential marketing also suits product launches, where guests can bring the product into a photo they’ll want to keep. Guests were holding the skincare in pictures they had chosen to take of themselves. That gave the products a place as personal souvenirs, with the logo making it easy to remember which brand was behind the experience.
